Next Song Player is an alternative music player designed for the ones that take care of their music library. Its main purpose is building playlists with songs that match seamlessly so that you can listen to music tailored to your personal preferences on every specific situation. PLEASE, BE AWARE: this app is designed to use your own music library, and can only play songs stored locally in your device. This app cannot play music from streaming/cloud services. MAIN FEATURES 1. Next Song Player generates dynamic playlists using one single selected song as the base criteria. 2. Playlists are generated using the track title, artist name, album title, genre and release date of the selected song. 3. Next Song Player will search for music rankings that contain the selected song, and will create playlists with the songs in your media library that are in the same rankings. 4. The playlists can be filtered out by song rating and play count. UNIQUE FEATURES * Next Song Player shows the song ratings (the starts) of the songs in the playlist, and of the currently playing song. * Next Song Player can post a notification when the now playing track changes, to allow for a visual hint of the new song title and artist. This is specially helpful when playing music with the screen locked or while using another app. * Next Song Player allows the creation of small annotations about the currently playing song to remember actions that have to be taken later for it (such as review its meta data or increase its rating). * Next Song Player allows you to read the stored lyrics for the track that is currently being played.
